Welcome to the online home of X-Toma

We purchased our first AST, Rythmnblu Dark Angel (Siska) nearly 4 years ago from Lang Dowdell while we were living in Victoria.  I fell in love with Siska and started researching the breed, spending countless hours on the internet and reading what ever books I could get my hands on.  I came across a website dedicated to the X-Pert line.  It has over 20 pages of history, pedigrees and photo's about the X-Pert dogs, right from the early 1930's untill recently.  I fell in love with the look of the X-Pert dogs, the biggest thing that struck me was the overall type of the line has not changed over 70+ years.

I contacted Peggy Doster, X-Pertise Kennels and we talked via the internet for a year or so.  I ended up purchasing a pup from her out of a litter she had.  From talking with Peggy I also started talking with Maureen Hauch, Best Friends Kennels.  I really loved her boy Ch Mullin's Sertoma Tommy D'Lite and his daughter Ch BFK's Tommy Girl D'Lite.  Maureen told me how she planned to breed Tommy to Abbey.  I joked around a few times saying I would really love a pup from that litter, but just could not afford to import 2 pups into Australia at the same time.  As it turned out the original pup I had from Peggy didn't turn out exactly as we hoped, so this opened up the door for me to get a pup from Maureen.  That is how I ended up with BFK's D'Litefully Sertoma.

Peggy's next litter was an outcross from her X-Pert line, using Ch Mullin's Sertoma Tommy D'Lite.  Peggy wanted a male from this litter so allowed me to have the pick female of the litter.  The pup I chose is X-Pertise Iconic Lady.  These two dogs will make a perfect foundation for my breeding plans here in WA.
